Holiday photos

So, I'm looking for suggestions. Where should we take our family photos for Christmas? Last year we set up our Christmas tree right before Thanksgiving (shame on us!) just so we could take our pictures and have time to get them developed and reproduced. I'm thinking we need to do something different this year. But I don't want to be somewhere where we'll look really silly (i.e. in the middle of a mall or something).

Any suggestions for a pretty AZ holiday backdrop for our photo session?
